Missions

Rosies Place MissionOur church’s Missions Committee is charged with researching and suggesting where we can best use our care, skill, and the financial means of our church in doing Christ’s work most effectively. Our budget is made up of 10% of the annual pledges, which are given to our church. Through our church and its dedicated people, we are able to assist charitable agencies, individuals, and ministries on a local, regional and global scale.

As part of our ministry, we provide and serve meals to the women of Rosie’s Place in Boston, we work with Habitat for Humanity, we collect clothing for Project Care and Concern and Boston City Mission Society. We also support our town’s local non-profit, People Helping People, through collecting food for the food panty as well as helping with their holiday Wish Tree program and Thanksgiving meal donations.

Along with our many projects, we present speakers and programs that build awareness of the world’s needs and the goals we are trying to meet. In so doing, we hope to educate and encourage all of us to become better informed and active regarding social issues affecting many among us and those within the wider community. Thus we are attempting to answer Christ’s call for us.

We would love to have anyone join our missions and outreach ministry!
